Nurseferatu

Nurseferatu is a Dr. Mario like game where you play as a vampire doctor. You have to balance your desire to cure the patient with your desire to drink their blood! As you place pills, the patient's blood levels start to rise, giving you less space to play in. Turn into a bat and drink their blood to keep the levels low!

Use arrow keys to move, Z to rotate and X to swap to the other grid. Rules are similar to Dr. Mario, connect four of the same colour to clear them. Clear all viruses to refresh the board.

In the other grid, you can push Z to move a targeted blood cell behind you. Walk into a blood cell to drink them. Drink blood cells in a connected chain for a higher score combo!

This project was part of my MSc Rapid Games Week. The theme was "Vampires VS Aliens", where each student was given team vampires or team aliens and had to make a game based on that theme. I was on team vampire!

All sprites and sounds created by me with help from my buddy daniel.
