Menaces Prototype

Menaces is a prototype exploring the idea of combining traditional fighting game design with platform fighter design.

The game features traditional fighting game rules, with health bar and combos, but features movement seen in platform fighters like Super Smash Bros. You can block by holding back, and use special attacks by performing motion inputs, like in traditional fighters. 

There are two characters, a sword fighter and a spear fighter. Both characters have full unique movesets, with their attacks visible in an attached txt file. You have a dash button

The game supports keyboard and controller, but no rebinds just yet. Controls are as follow:

WASD/D-PAD - Move

J/SQUARE - Light Attack

K/TRIANGLE - Medium Attack

L/CIRCLE - Heavy Attack

SHIFT/TRIGGER BUTTONS - Dash

CTRL/RIGHT BUMPER - Guard (Can also block by holding back)

M/X - Optional Special Attack
